Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience where youth ages 11-17 can have amazing adventures in the great outdoors, develop a love of service by volunteering in their community, boost leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime!

Troop 281: We Do Stuff

Troop 281 is a youth-led troop that draws from Grandville, Walker, Jenison, NW Grand Rapids, and surrounding areas. We are a diverse, active, welcoming troop, and we have graduated many Eagle Scouts over the years.

We meet every Tuesday night from
7-8pm at the Neal Fonger American Legion Post #179 (2327 Wilson Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534).

Intrigued by Scouting but have questions? Don't worry - you are not alone. The best way to decide whether Scouting and Troop 281 is for you is to check out a meeting. Let us know you are coming, and we'll be sure to welcome you. If you are a parent, we will gladly share more about Scouting and answer your questions while the boys are meeting.
